I am an independent research scholar, a narrative journalist, a photographer, a poet, a ceramist. At the interface between social and ecological questions, art and science, my work situates in
the tradition of Renaissance intellectuals.
I devoted the first decades of my intellectual path to social justice and the project of a social Europe within the European institutions in Brussels and Paris - whereupon I began travelling the
world deepening alternative ways of living and knowing as well as dwelling in the forest and the country.
I then spent several years as a research scholar at the University of California at Berkeley; my research interests include systems thinking, ecofeminism, ecopsychology and mythic activism.
